1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://oneshotretrievers.com (the "Site") and the dog training, boarding, and related services provided by One Shot Retrievers LLC ("One Shot Retrievers," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

2. Our Services

One Shot Retrievers LLC is a professional dog training facility located in Frankston, Texas. We provide obedience training, puppy programs, retriever and gun dog training, AKC field trial and hunt test preparation, snake avoidance clinics, and boarding, subject to availability. Program descriptions, durations, and pricing are published on the Site and may change without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to book services or provide consent to be contacted by us.

4. Booking, Deposits, and Payment

Bookings are confirmed only when we confirm them in writing and any required deposit has been received.
A deposit of [amount or percentage] is required to reserve a training slot or boarding stay. [State whether deposits are refundable.]

5. Owner Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

You are the owner of the dog or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Your dog's vaccinations are current, including [rabies, distemper/parvo, bordetella — confirm your list], and you will provide proof before drop-off.
You have disclosed any history of aggression, biting, illness, injury, or behavioral issues.
Your dog is free of fleas, ticks, and contagious illness at drop-off.
Your contact information is accurate and you can be reached during your dog's stay.

We may refuse, suspend, or end services for any dog that poses a risk to our staff, other dogs, or itself, or where required information has not been provided.

6. Health, Emergency Care, and Assumption of Risk

Dog training and boarding involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, escape, or death, even when reasonable care is taken. You accept these risks. If your dog requires veterinary attention and we cannot reach you, you authorize us to obtain treatment at your expense from a veterinarian of our choosing, up to [amount] without further authorization.

7. No Guarantee of Results

Training outcomes depend on genetics, temperament, age, prior handling, and the owner's continued follow-through at home. We do not guarantee any specific result, title, placement, or level of performance.

8. Photo and Video Release

We may photograph or record dogs in our programs and use the images for training documentation, our website, and social media. Tell us in writing if you prefer that images of your dog not be used publicly, and we will honor that request going forward.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, One Shot Retrievers LLC and its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services or your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim.

10. SMS Terms and Conditions

Program description. One Shot Retrievers LLC sends text messages to clients and prospective clients who have opted in. Consent is collected in two separate, optional categories:

Informational and transactional messages — appointment confirmations and reminders, drop-off and pick-up coordination, training progress updates about your dog, boarding availability, invoices and payment reminders, and replies to questions you send us.
Marketing and promotional messages — seasonal program openings, clinic and event announcements, special offers, and practice news.

How to opt in. You may opt in by checking the corresponding unchecked box on the contact form at https://oneshotretrievers.com/contact-us, by texting us first at (903) 681-1954, or by giving verbal or written permission in person, by phone, or on a paper intake form. Checking either box is optional and is never required to submit the form, book a program, or purchase any service. Marketing consent is collected separately from informational consent, and you may give one without the other.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies. You can expect approximately [2–6] messages per month; transactional message volume depends on your booking activity.

‍Cost. Message and data rates may apply. One Shot Retrievers LLC does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.

‍Opting out. Reply STOP to any message at any time to end that message category. You will receive a single confirmation that no further messages will be sent, and we will send no messages after that confirmation. You may also opt out by calling (903) 681-1954 or emailing contact@oneshotretrievers.com. Words such as END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT will also be honored.

‍Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless provider and is not guaranteed.

‍Eligibility. You must be 18 or older and the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.

11. Acceptable Use of the Site

You agree not to use the Site to violate any law, infringe our intellectual property, transmit malicious code, scrape or harvest data, or interfere with the Site's operation.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, photographs, video, logos, and program materials, is owned by One Shot Retrievers LLC or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

13. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [Anderson County], Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

15. Changes to These Terms
